PRESS RELEASE

Subject:

The International Association of Masculinists' denounces India's new gender biased divorce laws.

Introduction:

The International Association of Masculinists' ( Masculinists.Net ) is a Men's Rights Organization serving tens of thousands of Masculinist Activists around the world with more than two thousand in India alone. India's new gender biased divorce laws:

India has just seen tabled before the Cabinet, an amendment to the Hindu Marriage Act and the Special Marriage Act entitled Marriage Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2010. This bill sets human rights in India back decades and perhaps hundreds of years. Masculinists spoke against this bill as far back as 2010 informing the Indian Government of the gross degrees of misandry ( hatred of males ) this bill supports. Among the more disgusting forms of misandry this bill would enact we find the following:

PRESS RELEASE

Subject: Strongly condemning the upcoming Marriage Laws (amendment) Bill

Introduction:

Confidare Research is the education and research wing of Confidare Consultancy that specializes in dealing with problems of men.

Confidare Research strongly condemn the upcoming “Marriage Laws (Amendment) Bill” that was supposed to be tabled today before the Cabinet.

This bill is a further evidence of the growing misandry (male hatred) in the society and how the society treats men as disposable entities. Even in this modern age when we talk of Gender Equality, the stereotypical patriarchal notion that the financial responsibility of a family should lay on a husband still prevails in the society, and this pervert social mindset is the root cause of abuse of men, especially husbands in a marriage.

In such a situation, where men are already burdened with so much of load, another law which makes divorce extremely costly for them is thoroughly unwelcome.

Gender Bias Against Boys PDF Print E-mail

Is the meaning of a child only a “girl child”? If not so, then why do all schemes designed for the so-called welfare of children only focus on girls more than boys? Why this gender bias against boys? Almost all educational welfare schemes target girls only. So, boys face double jeopardy. On one hand, there is no helping hand available for boys in education, yet pervert social mindsets expect themto be the financial torch-bearers of the family and this puts a lot of pressure on the male gender in general. Male hatred is so rampant in the society that even a suggestion to introduce reservation for boys in schools where their numbers have seriously dropped, draws flak from the society.

Associated press release for the same And this pressure that is built upon males from childhood has many negative effects. Most of them affecting the health of men as is evident from the high rate of suicides.

Shocked? Baffled? Fail to believe you ears? Well, as it is famous saying, “Truth is stranger than fiction” and the recent turn of events just validates this statement.

Sneak A Peek

Men’s Rights – Perspiration or Inspiration?

As I think about the today's theme - it reminds me of Thomas Edison, the man who invented the electric bulb. He had made a famous statement "Things are 99% perspiration, 1% inspiration"

Same applies to men's rights movement as well. It is a matter of constant awareness campaign and hitting at our opponents and proponents of male abuse. Contrary to popular belief, it is 3 times easier to abuse a male than a female because males have no support structure and male abuse is accepted by the society as social service.

Follow Yourself; Not Tradition

As I have repeatedly mentioned in my articles that cultures have deceived men, acting as vultures. Men have been used as the FREE ATM MACHINE, the UNPAID BODYGUARD, the de-facto PROTECTOR and PROVIDER, etc. by cultures and in the process have been reduced to disposable entities. Their abuse is considered a social service now.

And men, the way they are, are in a great way responsible for this. They rarely challenge or question conventions, traditions, histrionics and stereotypes thrust upon them. They do not feel the need to fight for their rights - only a handful of them are doing though scores are getting victimized. They do not demand for their space in the society and accept things as offered to them.

To this effect, today I take the example of Skandagupta - the great emperor of India. His stepmother has him sent to Ujjain so that her son can be made the emperor. He obeys her. But then the Huns attack India under the leadership of Attila the Hun. The army of Skandagupta calls him back as they needed his expertise.
