This is an old issue, just youtubed it now to compare and expose this along with Gillette's recent WALS campaign, we need to catalogue all such media productions where misandry is the unique selling proposition(USP)!. Roadies: "Fun" while boys' get 'ball busted'?
"The fun really begins at the Immunity Task when the boys put their future generations at stake during the Ball Bursting quiz ;). Here, the girls get tested on their Hindi vocabulary - one mistake and the guys get it between their legs. " ........................
Thus goes the description for a Roadies(a show on MTV India) episode in which young boys get whacked on their scrotum with a pole!, as girls answer a quiz which supposedly tests their Hindi(National language) proficiency - ... television had touched a new low, an abysmal low just in the pursuit of TRPs, advocating misandry in the process.'
For cynics.. a simple question, would anyone have dared to do the same thing/equivalent with girls, if no, why not?... hope at least now cynics would have realised why such acts are a manifestation of Misandry.
See another form of Misandry here:
and AIMWA's(All India Men’s Welfare Association) response here: AIMWA Announces Refund for Razor Campaign The lowest common denominator of all these media productions? - Misandry, the pan-globe attitude... which must be changed for good. Do see discussion at Hindustan Times site(on HT introducing regular columns on men's issues) and vote/comment: Regular Column on Men's Issues
